Environmental artwork initiatives led by women-identifying artists obtain grants totalling $250,000

Fourteen initiatives that interact with environmental considerations have obtained grants of as much as $20,000 from Nameless Was A Lady (AWAW) and the New York Basis for the Arts (NYFA), from a research of seaweed cultivation in New York’s polluted Newtown Creek to a efficiency set up that underscores the hurricane-caused coastal erosion in Louisiana.
