Solana developers will soon have the chance to earn rewards for identifying bugs in the new “Firedancer” validator client.
The bug bounty program, led by blockchain infrastructure company Jump Crypto and managed through the Immunefi bug bounty platform, will run from July 10 until August 21.
The bounty pool for this program totals $1 million, with the maximum single reward matching this amount and all payouts to be made in USD Coin.

Firedancer, built using C and C++ programming languages, is designed to enhance Solana’s network performance by efficiently processing transactions and constructing blocks.
The bounty program was announced on July 3 by Cantelope Peel, an engineer at Jump Crypto involved in the development of Firedancer v.0.1.
To participate in the bounty program, developers must complete Know Your Client (KYC) details during registration.
Immunefi has committed to responding to bugs found in Firedancer v0.1 within 24 hours on weekdays. After the program concludes, an event-specific leaderboard and bug reports from the event will be published.
This new initiative allows developers to contribute to Solana’s ecosystem while earning substantial rewards.
