Before you get your knickers in a twist. This isn’t a bash at Bitcoin; I’m on friendly terms with the cult leader himself.
Only joking.
Look, as a professional trader of over 25 years. The one thing I have been fortunate to witness firsthand is the evolution of Bitcoin from a personal point of view, being both a venture capitalist and a day trader.
Some of what I have witnessed over the years include the good and the bad, as well as the very, very ugly. When I first heard of Bitcoin, I was on a jet on the way to Vienna from London, before boarding, you had to wait in this little outbuilding (one of the smallest private terminals I have seen). On the coffee table was a magazine, one of those Tech-type, WIRED, or STUFF.
I pick it up and jump in the car, taking us to the plane.
After settling in, I started flicking through this magazine and read for the very first time an article on Bitcoin. Digital Money.
Now, why this was interesting for me was it was 2011. I was an investor in cybersecurity-based tech for military and banking-type projects.
