Prosecutors in the United States plan to gather more evidence in their criminal case against Do Kwon, the co-founder of Terraform Labs.
A filing in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) on January 7 revealed that prosecutors expect to retrieve “multiple terabytes of data”.
This data includes materials from Kwon’s personal and business email accounts, his activity on X, and four electronic devices believed to be in his possession.

Kwon’s posts on X are of particular interest, especially those made during the Terra ecosystem’s collapse. His last tweet was published shortly before his arrest in Montenegro in 2023.
During a status conference on January 8, Inner City Press reported that audio recordings of Kwon, made without his knowledge, could also be included in the case.
Some of these recordings are linked to a separate civil case brought by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which previously found Kwon and Terraform Labs liable for fraud.
Additionally, prosecutors are seeking Kwon’s trading records and other documents from cryptocurrency exchanges. These steps aim to clarify Kwon’s role in Terra’s collapse and determine whether fraudulent activities occurred.
