Mythical Games has launched a special Super Bowl event for National Football League (NFL) Rivals, its mobile football game available on iOS and Android.
The event, which runs for two weeks, introduces new digital player cards featuring this year’s championship teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
NFL Rivals offers an arcade-style football experience featuring real NFL players. It plays similarly to Ultimate Team modes in games like Madden or FIFA, where users build teams and compete against others. The game includes non-fungible token (NFT) based limited edition cards, which are minted on the Mythos blockchain.

According to Mythical Games’ February 5 announcement, a total of 30 new cards are being added, each with different rarity levels. Players can collect them through in-game packs or by completing specific challenges.
One of the highlights of the event is the Hero Events, where players can choose between key offensive or defensive players and compete to earn rewards. Each week of the event, participants will receive a ticket that grants access to these Hero challenges.
Alongside collecting new cards, players can earn rewards tied to the actual Super Bowl game. Special in-game events will mirror real moments from Sunday’s championship, allowing players to experience the excitement in real time.
The event also introduces a prediction feature, where users can place in-game items—such as coins or gems—on various game outcomes, including the coin toss and final score.
