Jack Dorsey, former CEO of Twitter, has publicly suggested that Signal Messenger switch to Bitcoin
He made this suggestion on April 9 in response to a post on X by Bitcoin developer Calle, who said Bitcoin would work well with Signal’s private messaging system.
In a short reply, Dorsey wrote, “Signal should use Bitcoin for P2P payments“. His message received support from David Marcus, a former PayPal executive, who added that he believes all apps that do not process their own transactions should connect to Bitcoin.

Their comments show that Bitcoin can work for regular payments, not just as a way to hold value. Dorsey has said before that if Bitcoin is only treated like digital gold, it may not succeed in the long term. He believes it should be used in everyday situations.
