Trump Is Creating A Metaverse

Earlier this week, Trump Organization, an American conglomerate that serves as the holding company for most of Trump’s business ventures and investments, announced ongoing plans to launch a blockchain-based metaverse game. The Trump Organization hinted at plans to launch a metaverse game earlier this year after the conglomerate filed a trademark application to launch multiple crypto projects.

Based on data submitted, President Trump, through his Trump organization, sought a trademark approval to launch a downloadable virtual reality game software featuring crypto tokens for use in online virtual worlds, headsets adapted for use in playing video games, glasses, and virtual reality goggles and controllers. He also sought to launch a computer program for issuing digital certificates authenticated by non-fungible tokens.

President Trump also sought to launch his own non-fungible token market platform. Trump and his family are not new to the NFT market. In December 2022, the President launched the Trump Digital Trading Card, a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 45,000 NFTs hosted on the Polygon. Since then, Trump has launched more NFT collections and recently even launched a meme coin. His wife, First Lady Melania Trump, also previously launched an NFT collection and a meme coin.

President Donald Trump will create a crypto metaverse inspired by the popular game Monopoly. Developed by Parker Brothers, Monopoly is a real-estate board game for two to eight players. The player’s goal is to remain financially solvent while forcing opponents into bankruptcy by buying and developing pieces of property. Bankruptcy results in elimination from the game. The last player remaining on the board is the winner. The blockchain-based game will feature virtual real estate, NFTs, and the $TRUMP memecoin.
