Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated:
We believe Juventus is uniquely positioned to lead both on the field and in embracing technology that can elevate fan engagement, digital experiences, and financial resilience. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead.
Tether has made several large investments in other industries, including artificial intelligence (AI), biotech, and social media platforms. Its interest in Juventus adds sports to that list.
According to the company, it also plans to support Juventus if the club raises more money in the future. Tether said that it would be willing to invest again to help the club stay financially strong and avoid reducing its share of influence.
