The NFT marketplace users can now easily send NFT packs or collectible packs to friends, community members, or anyone with a supported wallet address.

Magic Eden Drops NFT Gift Packs

In a January 08 blog post, Magic Eden confirmed that it has activated the NFT gifting option on its dashboard. Magic Eden is a popular, multi-chain non-fungible token marketplace that allows users to buy, sell, and launch NFTs across blockchains like Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, and more. It provides features for both creators, such as a launchpad for new NFT projects and customizable royalties, and collectors, with low fees and user-friendly tools.

By definition, Gifting is a new feature on the Magic Eden that lets you purchase Packs and send them to another wallet address! This feature supports: SOL NFT Packs and Pokémon NFT Packs. Gifted NFT packs are delivered directly to the recipient and can be opened just like packs they purchased themselves. Once gifted, the recipient will see the pack in their Gifts inbox and Packs page, where they can open it immediately or later.

How To Send An NFT Gift On Magic Eden

To successfully send an NFT gift on Magic Eden requires four steps. In step one, an NFT user will be required to navigate to packs, choose an NFT pack, and select the pack they want to gift. On the gifting screen, a marketplace user can adjust quantity, enter the recipient’s wallet address, and add an optional message. Finally, a marketplace user can review the gift details and approve the NFT transaction in their wallet. Once the transaction is confirmed, the NFT gift is sent. The gifted pack will appear in the user’s gift history.
