Shure IntelliMix Bar Pro: AI-Powered Video Bar

Shure has unveiled the IntelliMix Bar Pro, an all-in-one video bar designed to deliver integrated audio and video coverage for medium to large meeting rooms.

The system combines Shure’s established microphone and speaker technology with AI-powered video features, aiming to simplify deployment, improve meeting quality, and reduce the complexity of managing enterprise collaboration spaces.

The device is intended for businesses that increasingly rely on hybrid and AI-assisted workflows.

“Businesses today need seamless audio and video solutions to make AI-driven collaboration effortless, and we’re committed to delivering future-ready, reliable AI experiences in every meeting space,” said Sam Sabet, Chief Technology Officer at Shure.

“The IntelliMix Bar Pro achieves this by combining Shure’s industry-leading audio expertise with cutting-edge video technology.”

By consolidating audio, video, and processing capabilities into a single device, Shure seeks to reduce the number of separate systems typically required in enterprise conference rooms.

The device is also engineered to cover large rooms with a single front-of-room unit, which the company says can reduce setup time and maintenance requirements.

AI-Powered Audio and Video

At the core of the IntelliMix Bar Pro is a combination of Shure’s Microflex Advance array microphones and high-output stereo speakers.

Onboard audio processing isolates voices and suppresses background noise, which Shure says ensures clearer meetings and more accurate transcriptions for tools like Microsoft Teams Copilot.

The system also features Shure’s IntelliMix View AI technology, which uses four 4K cameras to create a 135-degree wide-angle view of the room.

The cameras are designed to intelligently track active speakers and frame each participant as they would appear in person.

According to Shure, this allows the device to capture non-verbal cues and provide full-room visibility, enabling more natural interactions in both hybrid and in-person meetings.

Enterprise-Ready and Scalable

The Bar Pro is built on Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), a framework that allows IT teams to deploy and manage devices at scale while adhering to enterprise security and compliance requirements.

MDEP is designed to provide consistent performance across large networks of devices and simplify long-term management.

Juha Kuosmanen, Head of MDEP, said the partnership between Shure and Microsoft demonstrates the potential for integrated hardware and software solutions in enterprise environments.

“This collaboration with Shure shows what’s possible when enterprise security, quality hardware, and deep platform integration come together. By building on MDEP, Shure delivers devices that are secure by design, manageable at scale, and ready for the realities of modern IT environments. It’s a strong example of shared values translating into real customer impact,” he said.

Shure has positioned the IntelliMix Bar Pro as part of a broader effort to offer enterprise-grade solutions that are both scalable and reliable.

The company emphasises that the device is suitable for medium to large rooms and can replace multiple pieces of traditional conference room technology, potentially lowering total deployment costs.

Simplified Setup and Remote Management

The Bar Pro runs on an Android-based system with onboard compute, which Shure says simplifies setup and reduces potential points of failure. IT teams can remotely manage devices using ShureCloud or enterprise management systems such as Pro Management Portal and ServiceNow.

By integrating device management into existing enterprise workflows, the system is designed to reduce the administrative burden on IT staff while maintaining consistent performance across locations.

The combination of onboard compute, AI-driven video tracking, and remote management aims to streamline maintenance and updates, addressing one of the common challenges of deploying complex meeting room technology at scale.

Context and Industry Implications

The launch of the IntelliMix Bar Pro reflects a broader trend in enterprise collaboration technology, where AI-enabled devices are increasingly being integrated into physical meeting spaces.

As hybrid work models become standard, businesses are looking for solutions that can capture meeting audio and video clearly, support AI-powered transcription and collaboration tools, and minimize the complexity of managing multiple devices.

Devices like the IntelliMix Bar Pro are positioned to address these needs by combining audio, video, and AI processing into a single, scalable platform.

By enabling consistent performance in larger rooms, the system could reduce the number of devices and peripheral hardware typically required in enterprise meeting setups.

The Bar Pro will be showcased at ISE 2026 in Barcelona next week marking the first public demonstration of the device.

With its combination of audio clarity, AI-powered video framing, and enterprise-grade deployment features, Shure is positioning the IntelliMix Bar Pro as a single-device solution for modern, hybrid-enabled workplaces.
