The Artwork Newspaper’s annual report on museum customer figures around the globe has been printed. We discuss to Lee Cheshire, who co-edited the report, and to Charles Saumarez Smith, a former director or chief govt of three London museums and galleries—the Nationwide Portrait Gallery, Nationwide Gallery and Royal Academy of Arts—about how necessary the figures are to museums and whether or not they’re a sound gauge of establishments’ success.

And in London, a present of the work of Berthe Morisot, the pioneering Impressionist with creative and familial connections to Manet and Degas, has opened on the Dulwich Image Gallery.
