Mark and Kathy Hyatt, recognized for his or her annual “Hyatt Excessive Christmas” show in Plantation, Florida, have allegedly been outed as squatters who weren’t paying hire, taxes, or a mortgage for an estimated 15 years.

In line with court docket paperwork, the Hyatt household has been ordered to pay $34,724.68 for seven years of uncared for tax funds. The household was reportedly given a homestead exemption claiming that they have been the house owners of the house, which they weren’t.

“Properly, we broke in,” Kathy Hyatt advised investigators, per the New York Submit. “I’ve by no means completed that earlier than in my life. We by no means paid any cash to occupy. We have been squatters.”

The house, which is positioned at 11201 NW 14th St., is at the moment listed on Google Maps as “Kathy Sells South Florida” — an actual property enterprise that Kathy Hyatt runs.

On Zillow, the house is estimated to be value $1.72 million.
