Fish scales, nettles and banana leaf? Exhibition of conventional Japanese clothes made with uncommon supplies opens in Minneapolis

Most exhibitions of Japanese textiles showcase luxurious kimonos, indigo-dyed materials or patterned prints made with conventional supplies.
