Many DAOs say that decentralization, broadly, is the tip aim and, because of this, conflates “system decentralization” with “organizational decentralization.” The previous refers back to the technological programs DAOs are constructed on and use, and the latter would come with the DAO’s social and cultural attributes. System decentralization needs to be relentlessly pursued whereas organizational decentralization needs to be approached with warning.
