If I had done a sterling comprehensive review of Ethereum over the past nine years, I would have run out of Drive storage before I reached the PoS era.

In order not to compete with Ben Edgington's Upgrading Ethereum monograph and to allow you to get to every last page of this review, I took a helicopter view of the events that made up Ethereum's history over the past nine years and summarized the staking ecosystem as of mid-2024.
