Investors who have completed their onboarding through DLT Finance can now hold non-CFD long crypto positions, enabling full ownership of the underlying cryptoassets.
While holding a CFD position might incur additional charges, this transition eliminates the additional charges associated with CFD positions.
Limited-time offer for eToro Club members
For a limited time, eToro Club members are invited to convert their non-leveraged CFD crypto positions into underlying cryptoassets.
To make this transition seamless, eToro will cover the fees for conversions completed by December 31, 2024.
Follow these steps to close existing CFD positions and open them as underlying assets:
1. Log in to the eToro platform and go to your portfolio.
2. Click on any open position and look for the CFD icon (under “Positions”).
3. Close any relevant non-leveraged long cryptoasset position(s) held as CFDs.
4. Reopen an equivalent trade as a long position at 1X leverage within 30 minutes of closing the CFD position. As long as the position is a long, unleveraged position, it will open as the underlying asset.
Important: The following cryptocurrencies cannot be converted to underlying assets: RENDER, LDO, AXL, INJ, JTO, NEAR, OCEAN, OSMO, RON, SEI, ORCA, SUI, TIA, ONDO, IOTX, RPL, COTI, JASMY, HNT, METIS, PYR, STX, STRK, KSM, GHST, TON, BONKxM, PEPExM, NEO, LUNC, FIL, THETA, ARB, ZCHASH, crypto crosses and temporarily unavailable assets.
A credit for the amount of fees paid will be deposited into your account within 5 business days of completing the above process.
