The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has shared the names of key participants set to join a discussion on how crypto trading should be regulated.
The event is scheduled for April 11 and is part of an ongoing series of talks on digital assets. This session is called “Between a Block and a Hard Place: Tailoring Regulation for Crypto Trading“.
The roundtable will include people from well-known crypto and finance firms.

Others joining the conversation include Jon Herrick from the New York Stock Exchange, Austin Reid from crypto broker FalconX, Richard Johnson from Texture Capital, and finance professor Christine Parlour from the University of California, Berkeley.
From the SEC, the participants will include Acting Chair Mark Uyeda, Commissioners Caroline Crenshaw and Hester Peirce, and Crypto Task Force Chief of Staff Richard Gabbert.
On April 5, Uyeda gave an update through the SEC’s account on X. He said he reviewed several public staff statements following a past executive order that encouraged cutting down on rules.
This is the second of five planned events in a series the SEC calls the “Spring Sprint Toward Crypto Clarity“.
