The contribution will help aid in emergency food distribution and water and sanitation efforts to those impacted by the disaster. Ripple also urged the rest of the community to lend a helping hand through donations direct to the two organizations, to continue the relief effort.

Catastrophic Flooding Hits Northern Nepal
It has been especially severe in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal, where rivers in the border region with China have flooded communities downstream.
WCK officials stated that World Central Kitchen restaurant partners are already delivering meals to impacted communities and that their relief team will be soon on the ground to boost the response.

Experts said they think an avalanche of ice and rock, from a glacier on the Lhende Khola River, which is a tributary of the Bhotekoshi, blocked the river before a big wave of water rushed down.
